Abstract

The exponential form W = Ae– mx of the equation of linear regression of logarithm of weight of mulberry leaf with respect to time could be successfully employed as evaporation index of moisture of mulberry leaf. The rate of evaporation of moisture from mulberry leaf varies from strain to strain which could be evinced from the value of ‘m’ of the equation. The higher the value of ‘m’ the higher is the evaporation rate of moisture from mulberry leaf.
