Abstract

The field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2023 at the Crop Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh (India). to determine the "Effect of Nitrogen and Sulphur levels on Growth and Yield Attributes of Cluster Bean". The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Block Design (R.B.D) with ten treatments with three replicate. Here are the treatment details: T1: Application of 10 kg/ha of nitrogen and 20 kg/ha of Sulphur.T2: Application of 10 kg/ha of nitrogen and 25 kg/ha of Sulphur.T3: Application of 10 kg/ha of nitrogen and 30 kg/ha of Sulphur.T4: Application of 15 kg/ha of nitrogen and 20 kg/ha of Sulphur.T5: Application of 15 kg/ha of nitrogen and 25 kg/ha of Sulphur.T6: Application of 15 kg/ha of nitrogen and 30 kg/ha of Sulphur.T7: Application of 20 kg/ha of nitrogen and 20 kg/ha of Sulphur.T8: Application of 20 kg/ha of nitrogen and 25 kg/ha of Sulphur.T9: Application of 20 kg/ha of nitrogen and 30 kg/ha of Sulphur. and Control Plot. The results shows that T9 recorded significantly higher plant height (103.21cm), Number of nodules/plant (25.80), Number of branches/plant (11.03), maximum plant dry weight (30.84 g/plant), maximum pods per plant (39.31), Seeds per pod (7.63), test weight (29.51 g), Seed yield (1.69 t/ha), Stover yield (3.27 t/ha).
