The frequency of Okpanam residents to mechanic workshop is investigated. The study focuses on the frequency of repairs of the following car body parts; exhaust pipe, stabilizer linkage, shock absorber and bow joint. The researchers also investigated similar factors for the residents of DBS/Core area to determine if DBS/Core area residents are faced with similar problems. The contingency table and the Chi square statistics are applied to determine the cause of the above problems based on the data set obtained. The analysis revealed that the null hypothesis is accepted meaning that the residents of Okpanam often visit mechanic workshops due to poor road network, the contrary is true for the DBS/Core area residents.
