There are several mythologies cropped up against the perception of biotechnology. As far as a developing country like India is concerned, because of numerous causes, biotechnological approaches got failure at certain points. It reflects that biotechnology is still required to upgrade in view of making it accessible by the humankind. Further, this is semi-truth of the research outcome; if proper investigations are performed, it will positively be helpful to understand the fact behind biotechnology. If it will be brought in practice by the human, then its real boons for the humankind, however embroidered research can result into the curse for humankind. The present overview will certainly provide new insights into developing a strong platform exploring the paths towards affirming that biotechnology is a boon rather than curse for mankind.
