Abstract

Treating cancer fungi is a promising scientific field that deals with anti-tumour substances derived from the fungus. Nature produces a wide variety of biologically active substances, which have tremendous curative potential, among other things related to cancer treatment. Some aspects of the fungal treatment of tumours are relatively well studied, while others are still waiting to be fully resolved. In this research, the different types of fungi used in cancer treatment is studied and examined. Fomitopsis pinicola, Hericium erinaceus and Inonotus obliquus are some types of fungus that use in treatment of colon and rectum, stomach and liver cancers. Material and methods for preparing their chemical extracts using Collection, Extraction and Isolation, HPLC analysis, cell culture, Chemical Composition and statistical analysis is discussed. Experimental analysis was carried out on mice and cytotoxicity, Morphological changes, Reactive oxygen species accumulation, Anti-tumour activity, Effect on Body Weight and Tumour growth was observed.
