Abstract

Recently India has developing in many aspects such as monitoring and reporting of adverse drug
reaction in related to safety of the medication. Pharmacovigilance programme introduced in India for
to improve pharmaceutical services results in the quality of life of the patient. It is very hard task to
create awareness about the drug related problems in order to maintain safety issues. Numerous of
the adverse drug reactions were reported in India. It can be improved by the attentive participation of
Healthcare professionals, other healthcare professionals and non-healthcare professionals in the
monitoring and reporting of ADRs by adopting rational use of medications and genuine treatment
pattern. These consequences decrease the failure of treatment, progress in the medication adherence
and, improve safety of the drug.
